The Dashed® TravelPod (power bank travel charger) is approved for carry on luggage for airlines and has been cross checked by the IATA (International Air Transport Association)
With a Watt Hour rating of 37Wh, this 5 in 1 power bank is approved to be taken on board in your carry on.
Note on China (doesn't include Hong Kong): The only exception is domestic flights within China, which recently introduced new local rules. International flights to from and transiting via China are completely fine.
How do I recharge it?
Simply snap on a local adapter, and plug into the wall to recharge your Travelpod.
Alternatively, plug a USB-C cord into the front of the device, to charge it away from the wall.

Travelling with Your Powerbank in China (CCC Certicates)
Q: Can I use your powerbank when flying into or out of China internationally?
Yes. If you’re flying internationally into or departing from China, there are no issues using or carrying our powerbank.
Q: What about domestic flights within China?
China has recently introduced new rules for powerbanks on domestic (internal) flights. These rules require an additional CCC certificate to be printed on the device. We don't recommend travelling with our charger domestically through China as it may be confiscated.
Q: Why don’t you already have the CCC certificate?
This rule was introduced unexpectedly and has affected all consumer electronics brands, not just us. Like many other companies, we are now working through the certification process.
Q: When will you have the CCC certification?
We are actively applying for it, but as it is a government-regulated process in China, we can’t provide an exact timeframe.
What does the wireless pad charge?
The wireless pad on the TravelPod charges the following:

Does the charger go in my checked or carry-on luggage?
Our device is fully approved for your carry-on luggage, and there are no issues with taking it onboard your aircraft.
As it contains a lithium battery, it is not allowed in your checked luggage.
Are there any care instructions for the TravelPod?
Being a power bank containing a lithium battery, there are a few tips that can help extend the life of your device.
These tips also apply to phones, laptops, tablets and more.
- Try to avoid letting your device sit at 0% for extended periods.
- Don't charge under blankets/pillows or on soft surfaces.
- Avoid repetitive charges from 0-100% (All devices with lithium batteries perform best when kept between 20-80%.

Bought this for a Europe trip and honestly I'm still using it every day at my desk at home. The USB-A and C ports mean I can plug in basically anything. Great product.

I've received the item and can see how to charge it using the selection of adapters. I also see that there is a variety of cord types that you can plug into your phone to charge while the unit is plugged into the wall. As suspected, using the cord option charges faster than laying the phone on the charging plate. For charging a Samsung watch, would plugging your regular Canadian charger into one of the adapter plugs work? Or is there no option for that?
